The GSC was formed in 2015 as a key organ to enhance our girl-led project designing, implementation and evaluation. During the period, the GSC has been involved in strategic decision making during all our project designing, planning and selection of new beneficiaries. They propose interventions which address their priority needs. It has a membership of 9 girls’ ages 13 – 23 years, with the representation drawn within all the 4 counties of operation. They also spearhead formation of a sub-committee in Kuria to lead the advocacy against FGM and child marriage through the girl-led media model.
