There were 5 forums for the girls to share experiences, be mentored by role models in the society and to help impart life skills. NIGEE managed to hold five forums in the month of August 2017 in the six sub counties of Siaya County. Furthermore, there were 18 nominated girls from all the sub-counties who were awarded conditional non cash prizes for best overall, second best overall and girls who scored A overall or B+ in science subjects in external exams (in both day and boarding schools). The girls were chosen based on their performance from school report forms which were analyzed by the data team to ensure fairness.
